Job Description

The main duties of the post are as follows:

  • To be a first point of contact for customers and contractors, answering telephone calls and emails;
  • To log service requests and allocate work to members of the service teams;
  • To take information from technical reports and job cards to create invoices to send to customers;
  • To order parts required from suppliers to ensure adequate stock and to complete scheduled jobs;
  • To track parts ordered to ensure these are delivered in a timely manner;
  • To follow-up with customers to ensure quotes have been received and to take further instructions;
  • To invoice for service and repair work within an agreed time-frame of job completion;
  • To liaise with customers to ensure they are kept up-to-date with the progress of their service job;
  • To identify new service and maintenance opportunities and promote Canyon Services to these potential customers;
  • Such other or alternative duties as may be allocated from time to time in the light of the experience, training and knowledge.
  • Logical thinker as well as strategic and organized.
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently and to be pro-active in identifying potential problems.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Customer-centric.

Candidate must reside in and around the Hoedspruit Limpopo area or be willing to relocate.
